Career Development

As a new District Manager, you’ll participate in our 50+ week training program. It’s a hands-on learning experience that immerses you in the day-to-day operations of ALDI and exposes you to our entire business. More than that, it’s our investment in you and your career at ALDI.

After the Program

Completing the District Manager training program is just the first step in the ALDI learning process. Your training and development continues throughout your career with a series of internal and external training seminars. We are committed to the continued development of our District Managers and provide specific training on effective hiring techniques, legal issues in retail, general leadership development, personal organization, diversity and other relevant topics. We want our District Managers to understand the ALDI process from beginning to end. That’s why we provide the opportunity to learn about our Corporate Buying, IT, and Administration departments at an ALDI seminar hosted at our corporate office. Learning and growth is a career-long process at ALDI; there’s always an opportunity for more.

The ALDI International Expatriate Program

Want to take your career even further? The ALDI International Expatriate program offers experienced District Managers the chance to experience our business in an entirely different culture. For two years, you’ll be immersed in one of our many incredible locations worldwide. Through this, you’ll gain the perspective and insight necessary to take your career even further within our organization.
