I took part in the Expatriate program as a District Manager in Melbourne, Australia. I oversaw four (4) stores. Australia was a fairly new country for ALDI at the time, so I had the opportunity to work with a lot of people new to the company. I was able to learn from many different styles of leadership.
ALDI has supported me by providing me with great training and giving me opportunities to work in different stores, states, and countries. I have worked for some very talented leaders over the years. Their coaching and feedback helped enhance my own strengths and improved my weaknesses. ALDI has what we call a cooperative leadership model, where we all communicate openly and learn from one another.
I enjoy being part of a team that is goal-oriented and focused on driving results. There is no individual success without team success.
